A donation of 30,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses from the Czech Republic touched down Aug. 29 in Taiwan, underscoring the rock-solid friendship between the two sides, according to the Presidential Office (PO). The delivery of Moderna vaccines by the European Union member state demonstrates the willingness of Taiwan and its democratic partners to help each other in times of need, the PO said.
